Covid-19 Safety Measures

To minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission, we screen our employees daily for travel and illness risk factors. Those at risk must self-quarantine for 14 days before returning to work.

We monitor the temperature of our employees daily to ensure a safe work environment.

Patients are screened for COVID-19 risk factors and pre-existing conditions before scheduling and upon arrival. If any risk factors are present, we ask them to reschedule. Patients’ temperatures are taken at check-in as a further precaution.

To promote social distancing, we stagger our schedules and ask patients to wait in their vehicles until their appointment time. After treatment, we guide patients individually to the check-out desk to avoid crowding. Patients are required to wear masks at all times, except during treatment.

Our employees practice social distancing by avoiding common areas and maintaining a six-foot separation outside treatment areas.

We clean common areas such as lobbies, restrooms, and door handles every two hours or more frequently using disinfecting wipes. We also disinfect pens, clipboards, and the debit terminal after each patient use. Magazines and books have been removed from the waiting areas and treatment rooms.

Our employees wear additional personal protective equipment (PPE), and clinical staff change into scrubs at the office before wearing PPE. For high-risk procedures, providers wear all necessary PPE, including face shields, gowns, and N95 respirators. Non-clinical personnel wear gloves and surgical masks when disinfecting common areas and interacting with patients.

We ask patients to sanitize their hands and rinse for 60 seconds with a 1% hydrogen peroxide rinse before treatment to decrease the viral and bacterial load.

We use oral isolation and suction devices for all procedures that generate aerosols.

We thoroughly disinfect treatment rooms with wipes after each patient visit, including all clinical equipment (loupes, headlamps, face shields, keyboards, etc.). We appreciate our patients’ understanding and cooperation as we follow these strict safety protocols.
